I am an artist living in the beautiful Maritimes. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada and a proud Acadian.  My journey in art has led me to create unique pieces that reflect the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture of this region as well as help over a thousand women discover acrylic painting.

In 2019 I volunteered to teach at an RV park and one of the participants came to me after each class and would tell me how a teacher told her when she was in grade school that she would never be good in art.

 She was so happy that she decided to take a chance after 50+ years and set aside the false belief instilled by one harmful comment that stayed with her

throughout her life.  

She continued to paint beautiful paintings and she inspired me to continue sharing with others who may for whatever reason feel that they can't pick up that brush and for the first time experience pride and joy in something they created.
